WOW what a shocking case!!!!! Rupert is guilty of MURDER!!!!!!!! Or so it appears, wow simply amazing!!!

Actually, no. I'm not defending Murdoch (afterall, I'm a bit scared of what the Wall Street Journal will turn into). But in this case there is *suspicion* of murder, in a case of alleged piracy, against a company in which News Corp owns a majority share, where Murdoch is the owner of News Corp.
Seems quite distant to me.

Regarding this particular question, the idea of "going to far" should be replaced with guilty, not guilty, or settle out of court.

Thanks for your input tickle

In hindsight I agree that would have improved on the form. I prefer bidding on multiple choice questions.

The words 'going too far and' can be omitted from the question without changing the meaning. The remaining sentence makes it clear that the outcome can only be determined as yes if a guilty verdict is reached or if an out of court settlement is reached and the terms are released and we can determine a conclusion by referring to them.

You're right, it is fairly clear-cut. guilty = yes

It's a civil case, not criminal. There can be neither a guilty nor an innocent decision.

And how will the question be decided when the final settlement for an undisclosed amount of dollars, with the specific boilerplate that it *is not* an admission of guilt?

#5: Okay, so in favor of the plaintiff = yes?

#6: I don't know how this will be settled if the case is settled.

Wait and see what the jury says.
If they settle out of court we can analyze it then.

When describing the company alleged to have committed these crimes, media would typically say they are 'alleged' to have committed the crime to prevent being sued for libel or slander.

If after this case, media no longer finds it necessary to used the word 'alleged', I think this would be proof that the company did "go too far".

These were my thoughts when developing this question. I hope that clarifies things.

Mork, you seem on top of this. When will the trial come to a close? I'm trying to figure that out.
