Must the offer be exactly be the same as the amounts stated in the options (33/45/40)?
It would be not very likely a new bid would exactly hit one of those three ....

Otherwise it would read 33-35, 35-40, etc.

the way the question reads, it looks like microsoft would have to offer an ADDITIONAL $33, $35, or $40 per share...
