How much will the 101.27 carat diamond be sold for at the Christie's May 28, 2008 auction?

Settled as Diamond fetches between $6.0 million and $6.499million

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601088&sid=aWgfQnQV0rVA&refer=home
$6.2m

Background:

This is the largest colorless diamond to appear on the auction market in 18 years and one of only 3 colorless diamonds over 100 carats to have ever been auctioned.
The gem, which is internally flawless but rated VVS1 for clarity is expected to fetch upwards of $6 million, which is a relatively low per-carat price.

This auction may provide some insight as to the possibility of a weakening market for top diamonds due to the weakening world economy.

"internally flawless" is also a clarity rating.. so how does one rock get both IF and VVS1 rating?

Yeah but give the same stone to 4 different diamond people you will get 4 different opinions. A "D" colorless stone is very rare, the vvs1 is also very hard to find. I don't think the economy will effect this auction, not like average joes are in this auction, this is for the ultimate wealthy.
