Edited to make the question seem clearer. This will be voided if McCain does not win.

It Should Be Pretty Obvious That If McCain Lost The Question Would Be Voided!

Cancelled I'm a Category Editor, covering U.S Politics. It might be obvious to you but I want to make things as clear as possible, so we don't have confusion. Shadow you can start your likelihoods at the highest 95%.

I think shadowfax was questioning whether there is any support for a 90% starting value based on current news reports. Who has suggested this? If it is anyone less than John McCain himself or a powerful GOP insider, a starting value of 90% Yes to this question would seem to be grossly out of line with the available information.

I agree with shadowax and dohler here. In order to justify anything greater than 50%, there would have to be some indication to support that. So far as I am aware, the first to imply this may be a possibility is thedoctor.

I gotta agree. Why in the world would this start at 90%? I won't be a part of this scam!

There are so many bets on this, and as I didn't catch it before more then 150 bets were put on it. Even if it is a gaming market, although there were rumors of a possible VP run by Rice until she denounced it, I'll keep it with such a large amount of votes on it.

Now that AP and Reuters are naming Rice among those who authorized torture, I think you can almost settle this one as "No".

Rice has said that she has no interest in elective office. Therefore, this should settle as NO, per the spitzer rule
