Ok if you do not remember they gave him cancer, then blew him up with a missile. This movie was to be a non story arc episode. so there's no reason for him to be in the movie. Movie was to come out July 25th. 2008. Also the kiss between Fox and Scully was stages per David D. but who knows he has been trying to get this movie off the ground since he realized that he is the X-Files William Shatter.

I saw it. As far as I can tell he's not in it. Nor is he listed in the cast at IMDB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443701/fullcredits#cast
