Disclaimer: I hate basketball and have no idea how the NBA's playoff system works.

Question: Why are so many of these playoff questions at nearly 100%? Are the outcomes known already? Do sports questions not follow the "settle if we're 99.9% certain" rule?

well, look into the over/under thing on odds.... that's why i don't mind the odds being 50/50.... it encourages betting on the favorite, initially, but then the underdog vote comes in, then the counter....the begining odds on sports events are better off at 50/50 than some estimated fan's odds any day.... i think?
