When will Radiohead ANNOUNCE the release of their next album?
The Radiohead frontman says his band have no intention to release another album and will instead focus on download-only singles and EPs.
Both the 'Oct 2009/later" option and "Never, they quit" are viable settlement alternatives, but since the band has *not* quit and will continue to release songs as Radiohead, the October 2009 option is more appropriate.

"In Rainbows was physically released in the UK in late December and in North America in January 2008"
"A greatest hits compilation, titled Radiohead: The Best of, will be released by EMI in June 2008."
"Radiohead will tour North America, Europe, South America and Japan from May 2008 to the end of the year to promote In Rainbows."
So, they will get back to the studio in 2009. Record the new album, prepare the promotion ... I'd say October 2009 or later.
hehe,
http://www.hubdub.com/e/Market/Will_the_upcoming_Guns_N_Roses_album_Chinese_Democracy_be_released_before_2012__899/view
but with saying "ANNOUNCE" you made predictions quite difficult, though. They could announce about anything just like tomorrow.
oh, i forgot to add the source of my quotes:

(you knew that i think)
I do think that even if they "announce" an album tomorrow for say a date in Oct. 09, then that is cool too, and that is what HubDub is all about, as it is when do we think it'll be announced, not when it'll be released and so that makes it all the more fun. So if anyone thinks that they'll "announce" in the next couple weeks, then they should bet on "Before Aug 2008" and then they'll win, hehe, I love questions with wide ranging possibilities for conclusion as it makes the betting way more even instead of like 87% on one answer, really keeps the payoffs big, I LOVE IT "tocm" great job man :-D

- i like music questions (see the questions i post),
- i like the music radiohead makes
- i like the mode of this question, because it is not obvious and
- i over-read the word announce in the title first (whups) as i wrote #3 and put money in the options :)
