Cognos, you are funny, but actually when I looked at the list, I couldn't help but actually feel the same way! I thought Oh yeah Hilla.......wait a minute, I could totally see Bush wailing over the economic uncertainty and how he cannot place a shining crown on his rambunctious administration by having a successful final year in office!
No wait, I was dreaming ..... But yeah, I think he'll shed a single tear next, after all, I think it's the only thing he's got left to do, cause no one listens to him anymore, oh and one more thing, anyone seen his ratings lately? :-D

Funny!

Hillary won't cry, she's just a little bitter.

Bush won't cry. McCain is doing his best to lock Bush into a third term.

Paris won't cry. She's too hard, after her jail stint and all.

But, Brittney was just in another car accident....and everyday seems to be a bad hair day....

Great question Mork. My thoughts:

I'm thinking Hillary won't be able to help tearing up at some point in time, so I'm going with her. I think I might have trouble holding back if I came as close as she did.

W won't cry, he has people to do that for him.
Britney won't be televised crying next because she'll be in hiding as much as possible (hopefully).
Paris won't be the next to tear up... unless it's trendy, has a designer label, and/or it involves partying.

yes but there will be pictures and that will be shown on tv so i did take that into account. also he was talking about the wedding yesterday and came close to tears so.. its a good bet that it will be bush

Plus hillary learned that crying on tv just gets her made fun of she will not do that again

No press means no crying on television...I was thinking the same way, at first. But, I figure he'll be OK come monday, which will be the soonest that he'll be televised.

uh-oh...is this market gonna be spitzered? How will this settle if "Meet the Press" shows old pictures of Hillary crying?

I'll bet there'll be tears at the wedding...and a photo of it too, shown on TV...would that count?

But at 64%, the wager's not good enough for me...

bear...that's what I was getting at. I would think that "televised crying" means just that. Not televising (sp?) a photograph of crying. But, I dunno....I think we may need clarification.

it should count ! it is shown on tv if a photo of the wedding is shown of w crying it should be yes

You make a good point ryan. although I see "televised crying" differently...I flagged for clarification.

I always hope debates like this can be avoided when I create questions but they definately add to the entertainment value of hubdub.

I think we need to decide that if an image of anyone crying (tears required) ends up on television the question will settle.

mork-- so, just to be clear, that means a televised photograph of someone in tears is a "yes"?
posted 2 days ago
  26 No user imageErik
well.not a yes (as this is not a yes or no question), but a photo counts?
posted 2 days ago
  27 ryanb37
well i does not say it has to be live action. but it would be nice for clarification Not to mention the Major $$ i will get when it settles as W. come on you monkey lookin prez you cry for me let me see you shed them big ol texas tears

Telivised crying certainly implies that he is televised crying, not photographed crying.
posted 2 days ago
  29 ryanb37
yeah but a picture of him crying televised on a news show talking about him sheding a tear at the wedding and showing it I would have to say that that is televised crying.

It's a photograph, none the less. Photographed crying. Not "televised crying."

The market doesn't ask who will be shown crying next. It specificly asks, televised.

I believe the spirit of Mork's clarification in comment #24 is that if a picture of someone crying were shown on television, the question would settle as yes.
posted 2 days ago
  33 ryanb37
you forget telivised means brodcast over TV. Pictures can be Telivised. It does not ask who will be shown in video who will be crying None the less this is a very grey area i will have the Admin look into it and let us know
But hey debate is good.

Thanks tisha for the Clarification thats what i have been saying all along so i will be on the lookout for storys about jennas wedding big daddy W will definatly shed some tears on that

If this settles as a televised photograph of Bush crying counts,(admitadley we're getting ahead of ourselves) this completely alters the market. It has been publicized that there will be no television cameras allowed at the wedding, therefore there will be no televised crying of Bush at the wedding.
