A surefire way to make some H$ (if you can stand to wait it out): bet NO or Other on all the VP questions.

that BBQ this weekend was a consolation prize for the losers... and only two of them were interested... Jindal has no intentions of giving up his good work in louisiana to join a losing team.... the other two had nothing else to do...McCain is a sunken ship with airpockets allowing the GOP to appear to be alive.... but the O2 will run out in November! (Willing to put all my cash into the right question....)

@theonecalledmichael - there is a market asking who will win in November. I think you should make your predictions public and wager it all. Put those virtual dollars where the virtual mouth is... lol....

The problem as I see it, is that McCain will win the older, military, church going votes. This election is going to be about turnout. Will enough GOP voters turn out at the polls to help thier candidate or will the abundance of new voters the Democrats have energized in the primaries show up and vote in November. Another thing is that it all comes down to the electoral map (which I think we should eliminate the electoral college). Can Obama compete in Florida? Will Ohio and PA swing to the democrats. Alot of answers yet to be decided.
In attempt to be fully disclosed, I am a lifelong republican who isn't sold on McCain. I live in Florida.

A liberal is sure to win. Both candidates are lefty's. One is in the bleachers behind the left field fence in Arizona and the other one is on the roof of the building across the street from the left field bleachers at Wrigley field in Chicago...too cheap to pay the price of admission but thinks he desrerves to sit behind home plate. Who ever wins, I'm buying more guns and bullets!

I didnt really understand that analogy. I assume McCain is the one on the building across the street but the wording of that is so peculiar that i dont know what to think. What do Guns and Bullets represent in this analogy?

THIS MARKET HAS BEEN REOPENED BY NIGEL. IT WILL SUSPEND WHEN THE ANNOUNCEMENT IS OFFICIAL.

Wow, I'm going to be really shocked if he picks Sarah Palin. Sure wish that market was open...

Breaking news. NBC says Gov Pawlenty will NOT be McCain's VP. Reports are that Romney and Palin are in Ohio.

My lord. He's chosen Palin and with it he's chosen to lose the election. If you watch the TV coverage pundits are having a hard time explaining this, they have no idea how to justify this. I'm dumbfounded as well!

Dear Ryan,

Seeing as your so prescient about the November results, how 'bout a new market related to your prediction? % of Obama win? Something like that? hee hee

thats funny Ryan, i was just thinking how Palin was such a superior choice to Joe "President of the USA is not a position that lends itself to on the job training " Bidden, plus she secures the feminist vote the Obama just lost by not choosing Clinton. I'm willing to bet that the rep convention will have a lot less controversy regarding the speeches as well.

Ya, frankly the dem ticket is backwards, Biden should be the prez cand and obama is at best, qualified for the veep spot, he's got less experience in politics than Palin does. It's a joke that his campaign is attacking her already, but goes to show how scared they actually are. Dems go on the attack more the more they are scared.
