Question can't ever be settled/won with an answer of "No" -- as there isn't a suspend date.

If yahoo no longer exists the outcome would become no.

I think this will prove to be a long term question.
Since Yahoo! is a public company I believe something is bound to eventually give.
Please note that I started this prediction with an 80 percent favor of 'no'.

You did good Mork ... I totally understand the question ... If MSFT buys Yahoo, then obviously Apple didn't :-D But if Apple does, then umm yeah. And with all the fuss over Yahoo and this has been growing for about 6 months, Yahoo will most certainly be bought out or merge with someone within a year but most likely during the 3rd quarter time frame!

Note: all apple needs to do is make an offer...it does not necessarily need to put in a successful offer.

Homeboy; You should show your profile to your mother and let her decide for herself.

Apple ain't touchin' Yahoo! ....... Apple has many things going and zero interest in Yahoo as it fits into no part of their strategy, business model, product lines, etc. BTW, they would much rather Microsoft bite off more than Redmond can chew and lose billions on the deal, so yeah, give it to MSFT and watch the ship go down in flames, hehe :-)
