Of course they'll comment on it. Maybe not by 3/23/08. CNN's goal is to run out the right party and they do what they can to achieve that goal. What get's to me is that they never seem to mention that the rest of the world's leaders believe the same things as well. Also, they always state this as a "direct" link. What about "indirect"??? No one disputes that there were/are "indirect" links between al Qaida and certain regimes - this fact isn't reported because it goes against the goal of "no more conservative party", but they are quick to point out that certain U.S. government officials may have "indirect" links to certain business dealings, etc.

disclaimer - I wagered H$500 on yes

The question is not whether they will report on the study, but rather they will report on the pentagons cancelled plans for a broad release of the study.

Please read the article in the headline of the question.

The rest of the worlds leaders did not agree with bush at that time. As a Canadian I was unsure if we made the right choice at the time not to send troops to Iraq. Now in hindsight I realize how the wool was being pulled over the worlds eyes including some brass in the US. Thankfully we made the right choice.

Al Qaida has indirect links to every nation in the world. It's not grounds for war. Which nations were al Qaida directly linked to?...Afghanistan...Saudi Arabia..

If CNN reports on this they are just doing their job. Any Media that doesn't report this is not doing their job. These matters are far more important than if a state governor frequents hotels with high end prostitutes.

Well if the rest of the worlds leaders agreed with us, why didn't the UN support the US Action? Sounds like somebody is listening to too much Rush.

But, back to the market...The report has been released. The question I have is: What constitutes a "broad public release ?" This would have to be determined and stated in order to declare a settlement.

Erik... Read the article. It is in the headline of the question.

HOLY CRAP! Did you read the executive summary?!?!? There is a link in the article. I should have read this before I wagered. There is no way that CNN (or any other main stream liberal media source) would push this very hard! I am shocked that ABC website even allowed this article...and with the link to the summary on top of it. ABC made it so easy for anyone to read just how detailed that Saddam's regime kept records about their terrorist support practices. I wish everyone would read this summary. Support for the war on terror in Iraq would triple...even more. Now I know why it hasn't been "broadly released." It supports the war effort, and therfore will get little to no coverage.
