Yes, David Blaine will (yawn) once again try to break the Guinness record for underwater breath holding during a live appearance on the talk-show queen’s program April 30.

As you may recall, the last time the so-called endurance artist tried but failed to pull off this stunt, he had just finished living under water for seven and a half days."

hm, the bottom of that article has a comment hat says when the record was around 9 minutes he only got 7 and a half, and the record is now over 16 minutes! Thats a long time to not breath...

Blaine is a hack...smoke and mirrors...and most of his feats are pretty unimpressive...like, watch me stand atop a tower for more than 24 hours....OooooooooHHHHHHHHHH, AhhhhHHHhh

His "feats of boredom" don't impress me, but I must admit that I love his street magic. Some of the stuff he can do with a deck of cards is fantastic.
