Will HubDub use any of these suggestions to improve the site?

Can someone tell me what will happen when the site goes "live" - no longer beta? Will there be a warning?

Good question. I certainly don't want to start over at $2000....

I suspect that we'll all go back to $1000. I am also curious if there will be a fee.

this has been fun, but not worth the kids' college fund!

@scott - this Q is only concerning those 2 suggestions contained in the link correct?
@ bc - i would think we'd see adverts before we see a fee...i know that's one way they could get rid of me if they wanted :)

If this question is only concerning those two suggestions then I pray that the answer is no. Starting all questions at 50-50 is absurd and would encourage gaming rather than prevent it. Suggesting that the question creator must be contacted before settling a question seems like exactly the opposite of what this site is about. I swear I remember back when it was about predicting news stories, reported by news agencies. Seems now it is about guessing which way a question will be settled if at all, and then if you happen to be on losing side, raising every hairbrain objection one can think of. Pics that is how they can get rid of me, continue with this absurd "consulting" the community attitude that is developing. I swear it won't be long at this pace before a person argues a sports question about one team not winning but the other team lost and the team that didn't lose simply finished first.

This has a suspense date of 2010?! Can admin take a look at Scott's suggestions and settle based on whether they plan to use them or not. I think one of them at least, is absurd, so I'm hoping this settles as a no.

i have to agree with destry i am surprised it is still a option and has to be voided in fact the originator is that interested in the group his last coming to this site was 10 weeks ago and will flag as such

Neither suggestion has any merit, so I agree with jenniandboys, let's have the admin's agree that it is crap and settle this as no now ;-)
