Will Israel begin construction of a new Temple on Mount Moriah this year?

Current forecast: 9% chance
Combining all predictions, the current forecast is that this is 9% likely to happen (unchanged in last 1 day)

There is early discussion in Israel to begin construction of a new Temple alongside the Islamic Mosque that also sits on Mount Moriah today. This question asks, will Israel begin construction on the new Temple sometime this year? Question will be settled a YES or a NO after the clock ticks past 11:59:59pm PST to enter into 2009. ... Background: Israel has built several Temple of the Lord and they are prophesied in the Old and New Testaments to build a new Temple of the Lord on Mount Moriah. This Temple is a key element in the Biblical prophesy of the "End Times" and the Return of Jesus Christ to redeem His people. According to prophesy, the AntiChrist will seat himself in this new Temple and declare himself to be God. Hence, no Temple, no seat for him to seat himself in to declare himself to be God.

Hey all hubdubbers, the admins who control this site want EVERYONE'S input on how to deal with this cheater Satyaki and ALL future gamers ... They are asking for everyone to post their opinions and suggestions for the official rules on this link:
http://getsatisfaction.com/hubdub/topics/proposed_new_procedure_for_dealing_with_gaming?
This ongoing problem stems from this:

Here is the LATEST proposal from hubdub admins that they desire our say on:
Admins want a 4 strikes and your out process:
Proposed new procedure for dealing with gaming
Hubdub Representative
To date we have dealt with gaming on a case by case basis. However it has become clear that we need to have a defined process for dealing with individuals that game. Therefore this is our proposed procedure:
1. First identified instance/set of instances: Email warning
2. Second identified instance/set of instances: Email warning, user placed on public watch list (for 2 weeks) and fined 50% of worth
3. Third instance/set of instances: Email warning, user placed on public watch list (for 2 weeks) and fined down to H$1,000
4. Any subsequent instance will result in their ability to create questions removed and potentially suspension of their account.
We propose to apply this procedure for all new instances of gaming however some users are on their first warning and one user is on their second warning.

HOWEVER, several of us users are calling for a MUCH stiffer penalty process and this is our overall latest proposal back to the admins:
We want a 3 strikes you're out process:
1. First identified instance/set of instances: Email warning, user placed on public watch list (for 2 weeks) and fined 50% of worth.
2. Second instance/set of instances: Email warning, user placed on public watch list (for 2 weeks to 30 days) and fined down to H$1,000. AND removal of the gamers' right to create question for a period of time.
3. Any subsequent instance will result in definite, permanent suspension of their account, their IP and all other accounts by the gamer.

Have your say and please add your input at the area the admins have set up for this purpose:

Jewish group to slaughter lamb in Passover sacrifice rehearsal

A Bible-adherent Jewish group on Sunday ritually slaughtered a young lamb in what is called a "rehearsal" for the renewal of the Passover sacrifice once the Jerusalem temple is rebuilt.

The Temple Movement won approval to carry out the practice sacrifice from Israel's High Court on Friday after animal rights groups asserted that the lamb would be put through inhumane suffering.

In its legal response, the Temple Movement explained that the slaughter would be carried out according to biblical standards, which is the same method used to slaughter lambs at kosher slaughterhouses around the country.

The sacrifice and accompanying religious ceremonies were performed at a prominent yeshiva overlooking Jerusalem's Temple Mount, which is still occupied by several Muslim shrines.

*******
If that isn't a sign that the New Temple Movement is not moving ahead, I do not know what is :-D

Report: Lebanon moves civilians away from Israel border
In another sign that renewed armed conflict between Israel and Hizballah may be on the horizon, a major Arab satellite network reported Sunday that the Lebanese army had begun pulling the civilian population back from the Israeli border.

Later in the day, a military correspondent with Israel's Channel Two News said that Syria and Lebanon are on heightened alert because they know that Hizballah is about to attack Israel or an overseas Israeli asset.

Hizballah blames Israel for the February assassination of its operational commander Imad Mughniyah, and has vowed to strike back.

Israeli government sources confirmed to The Jerusalem Post that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert sent a message to Syrian President Bashar Assad that Damascus will be held directly responsible for any Hizballah attack on Israel.

According to defense officials, Syria is readying itself to hit Israel following the Jewish state's initial response to the imminent Hizballah attack.

Jewish priests fitted for service in future Jerusalem Temple
Confident that Israel's Temple to the Almighty will be rebuilt atop Jerusalem's Temple Mount in the very near future, the Temple Institute this month began fitting Jews from the biblical priestly tribe for their holy garments.

The Bible describes a very specific set of garments to be warn by members of the priestly tribe when they are serving in the Temple. This month's fitting was the first time since the destruction of the Second Temple over 2,000 years ago that potential Jewish priests had been measured for such garments.

Following the fitting, each potential future priest was presented with a set of garments matching the biblical description. When the Temple is rebuilt, a fresh set of garments will need to be made for each priest, as they can only be used in the Temple.

The Temple Institute has for decades been involved in preparing the various garments, instruments and other items needed to dedicate what is known as the Third Temple. Most Jews and Christians believe the Third Temple will be built atop the Temple Mount - today occupied by Islamic mosques - prior the coming of Messiah and the establishment of his direct reign over the earth.
