Will the Screen Actors Guild Strike before the end of 2008?
Current forecast: 36% chance

Combining all predictions, the current forecast is that this is 36% likely to happen (unchanged in last 1 day)
The Screen Actors Guild showed solidarity with the Writers Guild of America, supporting their desire for higher residuals for DVD sales and Internet Distribution and Online AD revenues from Free TV shows online. Currently, SAG Actors also don't receive ANY revenue from the money generated from the FREE ONLINE TV SHOWS, one of the exact issues the WGA went on strike for, heavily supported by SAG. Will they go for the same reason?

We have much to celebrate this year. From Hollywood to the Docks where we've settled contracts for thousands of workers and won organizing rights for Port Drivers, Security Officers, and Hotel Workers. To the passage of the first-in-the nation

Since it wasn't noted in the background information above, I thought I would mention that the SAG's current contract expires June 30 of this year. I had to look it up, thought I would save ya'll some time.
