Scott Parazynski has experience as an astronaut in five flies with the space shuttle, the last one being STS-120 Discovery (October 23-November 7, 2007).
Now he's heading for climbing Mount Everest which he's hoping will occur in the typical "summit window", the second to fourth weeks of May.
Many had attempted, but not all had succeed.
