They will take their debate directly to the public. You will not see another debate, where they are on camera, in the same room, being asked questions from the press. (ie., no typical debate format).

wow, this caught me by surprise. Haven't been watching my CNN as usual. real work, you know. :0
I can not imagine what subject they will debate that they haven't already. Mostly they've been mutual admiration debates. ;)
maybe the debate before Philly will be the debate where they debate who should be president, and who should be VP. At this point, i've not got a clue on how they will further distinguish themselves.
She's a highbrowed mud-slinger, and he's wearing some space-age fabric where none of the mud sticks.
Something has got to give. The Republicans gain every day that the Democrats don't have a clear nominee.
imho, the philly debate will lead to a brokered solution. What that solution will be is a toss up.

If you want to make some $H, bet yes on these two markets...

Please do not settle this market, quite yet.
Still a long ways to April debate. Anything could happen.
The question did not ask if they will plan a debate. The question asks if the Ohio debate will be the last.
Until the Philly (or other) debate takes place, it is too soon to settle.

I think the settlement rules should say something like ...

1) If either candidate drops out of the race prior to any debate, then market settles as Yes.
2) If both candidates remain at the DNC, and no debate has taken place, then market settles as Yes.
3) As soon as any debate starts, market settles as No.

Sorry didn't see that when I settled it didn't work. Should be settled now. To those who are saying this shouldn't be settled, if something happens and the debate occurs all I have to do is resettle.

You guys are all seeing possible "Spitzer" in the wind everywhere :-)

What is happening is that you are changing the way in which you settle questions. You refused to settle the last debate question in Ohio on MSNBC until the debate started, and now you are settling a question on the announcement of a debate. You need to stay consistent. What we are looking for is category editors who follow a set of rules the same way each time.
Shape up this is starting to get really frustrating when the rules keep changing, especially when the same person is settling the same exact type of question two different ways.

Predictions on this question after Fri 8th Aug 11:59pm PST have been voided.

I agree that this question should not have been settled. While the plan to hold another debate has been announced it has not taken place. Are we predicting the occurrence of news events here or are we predicting the announcement that news events are going to happen. Between now and April 21st, numerous things could cause this debate to not happen. BTW - My money was on NO so I profited from this settlement but I still do not agree with it.

Destry - Could you try to be consistant? You oppose settling this one (correctly) while you pushed for the settlement of the Florida Primary and Contest question. Just as this debate hasn't happened and could still be cancelled so could a contest or primary still be held in Florida despite the Florida DNC's announcement. So is it just an issue of pushing to setttle questions that you are going to win and holding open questions you are losing?
