Cringley is occasionally wrong with his predictions, but rarely wrong when he gets a lead like this.
As I see it, this will suspend further predictions, but hold up the settlement until January 1, 2009.
A Google branded phone or just a phone based on Android?
To me, a "Google branded phone" would be a phone with the Google name on the box, on the physical phone itself, marketed and sold by Google. In contrast, an Android phone is just any phone that runs the Android operating system: http://code.google.com/android/
So...which kind of phone are we talking about here?
@newswrangler - it appears that this is no longer suspending in February...
