Will there be an Israeli & Hizballah/Syrian armed confrontation within the next 2 weeks (April 3rd - 18th)?

Settled as No

This question asks, Will there be an Israeli & Hizballah/Syrian armed confrontation within the next 2 weeks (April 4th - 18th, 2008 by 11:59pm PST?) .... I ask this question based upon THIS news article: http://israeltoday.co.il/default.aspx?tabid=178&nid=15631 ... Synopsis: On April 3rd, Israel was abuzz over a possible armed confrontation with Lebanon's Hizballah terrorist militia and their Syrian allies.
Arab media reported that Syria has mobilized forces in anticipation of an imminent Israeli attack. That news was accompanied by an Israeli army revelation that Hizballah had redeployed most of its missile arsenal within range of the Jewish state and could be planning to attack Israel in the near future. ... So, do you think an armed confrontation will occur within 2 weeks (April 3rd - 18th)? By Hizballah/Syrian, I mean, will either or both be involved in an armed confrontation with Israel in the next 2 weeks?

Settlement details: As reported by a major mainstream news source and or http://israeltoday.co.il/.

Here is the LATEST proposal from hubdub admins that they desire our say on:
Admins want a 4 strikes and your out process:
Proposed new procedure for dealing with gaming
Hubdub Representative
To date we have dealt with gaming on a case by case basis. However it has become clear that we need to have a defined process for dealing with individuals that game. Therefore this is our proposed procedure:
1. First identified instance/set of instances: Email warning
2. Second identified instance/set of instances: Email warning, user placed on public watch list (for 2 weeks) and fined 50% of worth
3. Third instance/set of instances: Email warning, user placed on public watch list (for 2 weeks) and fined down to H$1,000
4. Any subsequent instance will result in their ability to create questions removed and potentially suspension of their account.
We propose to apply this procedure for all new instances of gaming however some users are on their first warning and one user is on their second warning.

HOWEVER, several of us users are calling for a MUCH stiffer penalty process and this is our overall latest proposal back to the admins:
We want a 3 strikes you're out process:
1. First identified instance/set of instances: Email warning, user placed on public watch list (for 2 weeks) and fined 50% of worth.
2. Second instance/set of instances: Email warning, user placed on public watch list (for 2 weeks to 30 days) and fined down to H$1,000. AND removal of the gamers' right to create question for a period of time.
3. Any subsequent instance will result in definite, permanent suspension of their account, their IP and all other accounts by the gamer.

Have your say and please add your input at the area the admins have set up for this purpose:

Report: Lebanon moves civilians away from Israel border
In another sign that renewed armed conflict between Israel and Hizballah may be on the horizon, a major Arab satellite network reported Sunday that the Lebanese army had begun pulling the civilian population back from the Israeli border.

Later in the day, a military correspondent with Israel's Channel Two News said that Syria and Lebanon are on heightened alert because they know that Hizballah is about to attack Israel or an overseas Israeli asset.

Hizballah blames Israel for the February assassination of its operational commander Imad Mughniyah, and has vowed to strike back.

Israeli government sources confirmed to The Jerusalem Post that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert sent a message to Syrian President Bashar Assad that Damascus will be held directly responsible for any Hizballah attack on Israel.

According to defense officials, Syria is readying itself to hit Israel following the Jewish state's initial response to the imminent Hizballah attack.

does air strikes count as a armed confrontation?
posted 33 weeks ago
Absolutely :-D ... Basically this question poses, will there be a battle, a confrontation not of words but of fighting whether with guns, bombs, air strikes, all out invasion, etc. ... In other words, as of right now, both sides are simply mouthin' at each other, so no "armed confrontation" is occurring, so if it turns violent and bombs or guns or armies start fighting, that is an armed conflict.
Hopefully, this makes it more clear.
