when will hubdub next censure someone for gaming the system

Settled as on or before april 30

hubdub has censured at least one person so far for gaming of the system...when will the next cheater be caught?

please check settlement details, not sure if this is agreeable for most people or not...all initial odds set at 14 with an extra 2% in 1st option since a few extra days

I trust the admins, but would like some background from them if they can... how many people have been censured so far? Or when the most recent time was?

The better thing to ask is if the same person who was censured before will be censured again for gaming the roadie questions. I believe more severe action should be taken when gaming is detected, I believe in a simple 3 strikes. Strike one is a warning posted to the users account, available for everyone to see. Strike two is funds reset to initial starting (1000 I think is starting number), and a 7 day no activity period. Strike three, goodbye (IP address banned).

well jenniandboys, it was satyaki who was fined $30K for gaming.. he had Three accounts and he made questions and bet on them with the others, to cheat. The site was still new and gamers were rampant(think North Dakota, windchill and "exceptionally analytical minds" and you'll get the picture)

In fact satyakis other account ("tuts") is number 10 on the entertainment leaderboard, while he himself is number one..

Isn't there a contradiction here? The settlement details say that the administrators don't have to announce a censure. But if the administrators want to keep a censure private, they can't because settling this as a "yes" indicates that they've imposed one.

rohan - I think anyone who's been around a while knows about satyaki, my question was if its happened before or since. That's only one user I know of out of over 5000. Its clear paging through some of the more recent users that there is lots more gaming going on, but what isn't is if its being censured.

@peter - i only know of one time that it's happened and the only reason we know about it is because the culprit complained publicly about his loss of cash....if it happens again, i expect hubdub staff to handle it basically the same way, which was privately thru email....an acknowledgment that someone has been censured without actually announcing who the culprit is is what i meant....if you choose to bet on this, you should understand that you proly will never be able to _prove_ that the gaming actually occurred or who it was, we will all just have to accept the settlement...wasn't sure if this Q would be voided or not, but figured it would be a good topic

Thanks for the info ... 3 accounts huh? 2 on the top 10 of Entertainment! ... WHY IS HE STILL AROUND THEN??? ... It is against the rules to have and especially to abuse the system with more than 1 account!
