will hubdub reset everyone's cash when it comes out of beta?

Since voting yes for this question can never result in a gain it only makes sense to vote no since if the cash were to be reset you would gain nothing.
I think this might be voided for that reason... if not... voting no would be the only choice... I'm voting no just in case they don't void it :)

an interesting question. I can understand they might want to reset but I would argue strongly against it. They would disallusion many users and punish though who joined up early. While I don't think they should ever reset people's actual total wealth they may want to consider different ways of ranking users. The quarterly gains for example are quite a long time. Perhaps the main ranking should be of monthly gains. They should also provide more criteria for ranking, the topic specific rank lists are a good start. They could improve it by showing us all the users and their ranks, not just hte top 20, then people could compete locally.
perhaps they could even let us find our rank relative to arbitrary sets of keywords, that shouldn't be too hard to set up.

This keeps it competitive while allowing people to not obsess about total weatlh. You may also want to set a cap on the max amount that can be bet on any question as a percentage of wealth. But maybe not.

Oh, please don't. I've worked too hard to get the little bit of money that I have now. No way I'd want to start from zilch.

Then again, I'm such a Hubdub addict that I'd probably be back anyway.........

I sincerely hope that they DO NOT reset our money, I have worked soooooo very hard, I've gone without sleep, without food, without a shower, I'm broke, have no job anymore and my eyes are now failing me....... Okay, so none of that was true :-P Except for the working realllllly hard part!
I agree too that it would be totally uncool for all of us who were there at the start of this fantastic site! And I again like "ratel" idea about how to make the rankings monthly, and such. Great ideas there! And I also soooo badly want to see other user, besides the top 20, as I am very far away from them, and like I'd rather see like maybe what percentile I am in, like say the top 90% of players, or like my rank out of all (like ranked 1150 out of 5,315) yano?

But yeah, DO NOT reset our money, PLEASE :-D

@rohan&truthwrangler - i would say yes assuming we go back to 1,000, altho it would presumably be before the site goes "live" i wasn't thinking about that when i wrote it...shoulda proly written "by the time that" instead of "when"...

or we all go to the same amount, not necessarily 1,000
