Copyrights ?
At the moment I consider creating some questions myself. There are 3 topics I need some input before:
1. I donīt like questions without pictures. What is the legal situation? Which pictures can I take? Is there a Hubdub picture pool? Can I take the team logos from www.nhl.com ?
2. Are there rules or policies concerning betting on self created questions? If I miss some NHL-games to bet on, it would be pointless (for me) to create that question without being able to bet.
3. Is it possible to send Hubdub emails to deliver to e.g. the other NHL-question-creators to devide the task and promote a clear coordination of the schedule. I donīt want to use open communication or shouts for this.
Many thanks to everyone who creates questions !

Hey hfl, I am NOT a HUBDUB official however I can share some of my experiences of question creating with you. I always copied and either saved or pasted pictures from the internet to "paint". I like to paste them there because I can alter them easily, including making them all the same size. Also you can add text, etc. I figure until someone tells me I cant do that, that is the way I will continue to get pictures/logos. I also like to animate or have pictures that "change". A good website that is free and easy to use (without downloading anything) is here : http://picasion.com/upload-pictures/ . At that site you can upload up to about 10 pictures. (My avatar is an example of a .gif created on that site). I find it works best to use pictures that are all exactly the same size.
There are no rules at the moment (that I am aware of) about betting on your own questions. I have done it all along. I like to make my wagers public so there is no speculation about "cheating".
Mrperfkt- http://www.hubdub.com/users/mrperfkt (Mark) is the sports editor. He is a great guy and always willing to help question creators. You can email him at mark@hubdub.com. Maybe he can help you coordinate with other question creators in a more private way (ie, pass along private email addresses, etc.) Unfortunately Hubdub does not have a private way for users to communicate. Again maybe mrperfkt would be willing to pass your email address along with a note to another creator and the two of you can start communicating that way.
Best of luck to you! Thank you for all your participation in the site, especially question creating.

@letmewinplees: thanks for the information
Please some more (A or S) answers!

Without a clearification on copyrights there wonīt be any other questions from me than HubDub questions.
vetted means "reviewed or approved"...I actually don't think its an option. I forgot about the 6 hour wait. That is to ensure no cheating is going on. Since no HD officials have answered you, try using the "contact us" link for a more official response. Best of luck to you!
@hfl, yes letme provided you quite a good answer.
1) Use whatever pictures you want.
2) You won't be able to bet for the first 6 hours on your own question, but are free and clear after that point.
3) Mark (mrperfekt) is the best source to discuss divvying up the Hockey questions... also he will likely have a good suggestion on a site to use for good initial odds.

@jenni: thanks
1. Still need some legal clarification / public domain picture sources, because I donīt want to pay penalties for using copyprotected logos and pictures. Will try "contact us".
2. First I intended to make my bets public on created questions, but with the 6 hours rule its fair and I see no reason to abolish my secrecy advantage.
3. Will talk to Mark for the next regular season.
There are some abandoned questions (today I miss "percentage umemployment")I am interested in. My wish is to take over existing non continued questions by asking the previous creator. This would only be possible for me by button (like an frienship invite). If granted then both (old & new creator) can use the saved question for a quick new on. This would save lots of time at well designed questions with 5-10 answers. If the creator intends to continue he/she could deny (could slow down doubles).

@hfl: If you create a question with no picture, a category editor or superuser can add a picture later.
