How will my wagering change as I get richer?

Here's a question for the hubdub high rollers from a noob.

I'm being optimistic.

How does your wagering change as your H$ net worth grows?

What are the differences in the ways that someone with H$1,000 bets versus someone with H$100,000 and someone with H$1,000,000?

I'm not the best person to ask because I only have $18,000, but I think it's just easier to grow your wealth exponentionally once you reach a certain level of wealth, because you tend to lay on bigger predictions...I used to make $100 bets and now I make $1000 bets ... assuming that you get about the same amount of questions right and wrong you can make more $$ quicker.

And I save the $20 bets for questions where I get challenged about something I know nothing about :-)

I used to always bet $20 when i had less than 2000 but now (even though i only have $4000) I rarely bet less than $50. If you take a look at someone like kruijis (who has over $400,000 he always bets either $500 or $1000.

whoops. I accidentally put in a ( before the word who. Just ignore that.

It is not exponential. Your growth rate will remain the same because you will likely make bets based on how much your net worth is.

If any factor contributes to an increase in the rate of growth, it will be that you feel freer to diversify your stakes.

Well, for me the bets have been small ever since my cash went below $100. The memory of that keeps me gunshy and still keeping bets small (mostly less than $10) even though my net worth is around $8000. In other words, it's not just your wealth. Your past experiences have a lot to do with bet size, too. Also, I like to place lots of bets. It's hard to make all of them large ones.
