In suspense:- settle or void?

Many of us can cite examples of betting on questions which have then been suspended (prior to the original suspend date) and which are not reopened, settled, or made void for long periods of time.
I suggest this is unfair as players cannot adjust their positions. If there is a real prospect that the market can be settled when a q. is suspended prematurely, then surely that should be decided fairly quickly. I would suggest a 3 day/72 hour cut-off, after which the question should be reopened, settled, or made void. Alternatively, I would suggest any question which is suspended for more than a week for any reason (even by design) should just be voided.
What does the Hubdub community think? I'll bet everyone hates suspended questions!
