Who do you think/want to win the world series? Who are your favorite players? Who did you like before they lost? I liked the mets and the brewers! But both of them are long gone. :(

I personally think the Rays will win the World Series, reason being there pitching staff is rock solid, with the Garza strip, and Sheilds offering good pertection. The Phillies dont have that type of pitching, after Hamels there is nobody that can compete with the Rays. Favorite players on the Rays i like Carl Crawford, and Eric Henske (former Blue Jay) for the Phillies i like Ryan Howard and again former jay ( Matt Stairs). I wanted the Red Sox to play the Dodgers think it would of been interesting due to the whole Manny thing.

With the Phillies up 3 games to 1, the Rays need a big win tonight to keep things alive!

So, we have 5 In-Play World Series questions for Monday Nights game!
In trying something a little different, these questions will be suspended until just before the start of the game (@8:00pm). Users have been asking for more in-plays, so show your support by getting in on the action!

Good luck!

Has Game 5 broken a record for the longest in-play markets?

I-N-T-E-G-R-I-T-Y. A few years ago the Blue Jays filled a proteset with Major League Baseball because they thought a game was called prematurely, because of the rain. Major League Baseball, squashed it. The rules are the rules , from opening day to game 162 to the World Series. Commisioner Bud Selig signed on to start Game 5 of the World Series and the Phillies won it, after 5 1/2 innings the game was tied at 2-2, but Philadelphia was ahead 2-1, after five complete. Looks like Bud "Light" makes up rules as he goes along.

Man I hope the Seattle Mariners go to the World Series but its unlikely. The Mariner out fielder Ichiro Suzuki #51 had 1 grand slam, 4 runs batted in, 2 hits, 1 run, 1 stolen base, and 400 batting average all in his first game this season. The Mariners also have designated hitter Ken Griffey Jr., pitcher Felix Hernandez, and center fielder Endy Chavez just to name a few. This season Chavez had 5 runs, 17 hits, 1 home run, 6 runs batted in, 20 total bases, 3 stolen bases, and 386 batting average in his first 11 games. Finally the Seattle Mariners are currently the best in the American League with 8 wins and 3 losses as of April 17, 2009. So the Mariners are currently showing a sign of possibility, but you never know what will happen from now on.
