I too love the concept, but I can honestly say they fail to adhere to true facts for settlement porpuses.
They do not seetle questions with facts, but rather by judment of who ever is settling the prediction at the time. They focus on pleasing the majority. At least that has been my experience thus far.
My advice to all newbies is that you abstain from making predictions that leave too much room for interpretation.

Hi I just started playing Hubdub on thursday. I heard about Hubdub by this program called Click. When I went on it I was confused on what to do but after and from H$1000 I went to H$650 but then I went back up to H$1140. Really great website.
I rarely join a site at first arrival, but you honesty, title and simplicity compelled me to join. After this second look as a member, I'm happy I joined. Here's a funny question:
What's the basic purpose of a forum and a blog, and what are the differences?
And how do I find the responses/answers to my 2-part question?
Thanking you in advance, I am

Hi chardly
The forum here lets us discuss topics and compare opinions. We try to use the forums when there are a lot of comments on a particular question, or when we just want to chat about a topic that is not pertinent to any particular question. When there is news that relates directly to a question, I usually try to post the link in the comments for that question, and leave the more general discussion for the forums.
Hopefully this helps with the first half of your question. Blogs tend to be different in that they are "owned" by an author who posts whatever strikes their interest, in contrast to the forum where there are multiple contributors without a real "main author".
Have fun predicting on Hubdub!
