White House Visitors!
I haven't understood the purpose behind releasing the list of White House visitors to the public. Have you?
Below are the PICS of 28 of those high profile visitors! What do you think they were doing in the White House? http://www.allvoices.com/news/4522826-white-house/image/41327281

If you really want to know, to read what your government tells you, would be a good start:

Here is what happened, as far as I can tell:
1) Mr Obama promised to release the names of White House visitors while he was campaigning
2) A federal court has ruled twice that these names are public information and should be released
3) Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington was about to file a lawsuit to obtain their release
4) Mr Obama changed his mind and now says they will release a few names because “Americans have a right to know whose voices are being heard in the policymaking process”.
Most guests names will still be hidden.
Despite the accompanying White House claim of "transparency like you've never seen before," the Obama White House continues to take the same legal position as the Bush White House, arguing that the records are not public records subject to the Freedom of Information Act. Only limited "voluntary releases" are being made to settle a lawsuit filed by an advocacy group, though a federal judge has twice ruled that all the visitor logs are public.
