Who on this planet would you most like to drink a beer/coffee with?
There are lots of interesting people in the world, from Springsteen to Spielberg, from Kissinger to Clinton. If you could sit down at your local coffee shop or watering hole with one human being for three hours, who would it be and what would you ask that person?
I would talk with Bob Leighton and Richard Feynman. 2 great physicists, both who I thought very highly of. One, I knew.
I do not think of any politician, except Obama, but I think I could not communicate with someone who lives on such a different plane as me.
Nevertheless, if I could, I would probably need a week to understand how he can put up with all the nonsense, and keep going...

Eric Clapton - Living
Jimmy Hendrix or Chet Atkins - From beyond the grave

@chatarra Jimmy was the best because he practised the most. They said "If Jimmy was boiling an egg, that was 3 minutes of practice." He never stopped. Still miss him.
The Dalai Lama or Pope. I would like to have a serious conversation that does not involved religion or China. A down to earth talk with several high fives, laughs, and serious topics that are mundane.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin praised the hospitality and openness of U.S. former President George W. Bush in a telegramme sent hours before meeting his successor Barack Obama.
"During the last years we have been working on strengthening Russia-U.S. cooperation. Although there were differences between our countries, I always valued your openness and sincerity," Putin said, congratulating Bush on his 63rd birthday on July 6.
"With special warmth I recall your hospitality in the Crawford ranch and your family estate in Kennebunkport," Putin wrote, referring to their 2007 meeting at the Bush family vacation home when the two leaders went fishing and ate lobster.
