Pope Benedict XVI aka 'Joe the Pope', WORST POPE EVER?

Maybe the discussion should simply revolve around Pope Paparazzi the Nazi and John Paul. Living in one of the most Catholic countries in the world, I can tell you that John Paul remains astoundingly popular. You can get JP posters, JP buttons, little bottles of sand that JP walked on, and probably hairs from unspeakable parts of JP's body. But I've yet to see any Ratzinger mania. The thought was that they were going to name that African guy pope until he came out in support of allowing priests to marry. So they went with Ratzinger, who is an old geezer as a transitional pope who would only be around for a few years. But like Bush, who in eight brief years, trashed a nation it took nearly 200 years of blood, sacrifice and tears to build, Ratzy seems capable of destroying Roman Catholicism in whatever amount of time he has left before he casts off this mortal coil. It's not just that Pope Himmler steps in it every time he opens his mouth. It's that he doesn't do Anything. Sensing the beach head that Evangelical Christian groups established in Latin America, JP was here constantly to "feed his sheep." He visited Mexico something like six times because he realized this was the battlefield in a theological war. The Church is bleeding members here faster than you might think. But where's Ratzinger? He doesn't seem to care about anything at all, not even defending the institution he spearheads.
