Why is it that some players bet multiple times on one question? Some players bet up to 5 or 6 times on one question. They even bet the same answer twice. I don't understand the thinking behind this but all of the good players do it so I'm wondering how it works.

to me a lot of the questions could have various winners...I bet on some for long shots; some because I like to vary my bets and I bet sometimes according to the odds which change considerably

I often split my bets on the same answer to improve my net worth (gains on previous bets). Its easier to cash in a part of the bets.
I bet on different answers on some questions with this pattern: I believe in 1 or 2 answers - I add other answers if the percentage is much below the probability I give that answer. These insurance bets have gained me lots of money.

In this question my bet is "This is it" 8*1111 that gave me about 4K net worth gain when it was above 90%. These bets will all be lost due to poor performance of that movie. But my insurance 333 on Couples Retreat (bought at 2,06%) will give me 16155 today.
