I have now reached the heady heights of seer and would like to say my life has changed.

I can't believe the premiership has ended. I am now stuck as I have 140k which has just been paid out and no football. May be i should take an interest in F1 or place questions on paint drying.

Not only been busy with Owen but exams as well. Managed to cock up several thousand on cricket as I heard some commentator say something about a three day test. They mean't it would probably be over in three days I heard that it was three days long so it owuld be a draw. I realised that on day 4 but never got round to logging in and cashign out my prediction.

Ahh well I will sit here patiently with my 40k in hubdubs jailed safely. Its just irritating when the result was decided weeks ago (Wolverhampton came top and Southampton got relegated if you don't get the results that side of the border).

On a more important note I like the question statistics. Turns out half of mine get on the front page, quality not quantity.

I'm embarrassed for you. I have barely looked at this for a month due to the auditors being in at work. Despite this you have managed to fall further behind me. Hang your head in shame.

Back where I belong (20k ahead of you). I won't be looking at the leaderboard for a while because I'm 61st and 60th is 25k ahead of me.

I like the 6 nations thing, it's good to start afresh and have an end in sight. The end may be sooner than I think if Scotland win.

I also like the spreads that your using on the Super League, even if they did catch me out last night. I think they would be great for the six nations (as no one but yoiu really thinks Italy are going to beat anyone other than Scotland).

Not bad for a night's work (+17,849 in 24 hours).

Two questions though:
Why did you pay on the draw and win in extra time (seems obvious that it was result in 90 minutes)?
Why did I choose to starting putting money on Doncaster against A Villa at Villa Park? This is particularly galling as I predicted a two goal cushion for your Brummie friends.

BBC coverage of Super League good but Sky is mildly better.
They do change it but this year the main part is a home and away fixture against each of the other thirteen teams and a twenty seventh game at the Magic Weekend. This year it is at Murrayfield and basically all teams fans descend on a city for a neutral game. It used to be derbies but it turns out everyone is fed up of Hull v Hull, Leeds v V Bradford and Catalans v Harlequins (don't ask).
At the end of the regular seasons the top eight go into a play off tournament with the grand final(e) at Old Trafford.
Fixtures are pretty easy to work out as you can't really play two games in a week so except for Easter (two rounds) and Cup weekends there is a full set of games. The other exception is they moved some to the start of the season to accomodate stadium sharing and the WCC.

I waas right we can get on the right end of a 1-0 result, although no thanks to our strikeforce. ITV Championship put it very well when they said "having failed to get it in from 3 yards out the Doncaster Captain, Brian Stock, tried his luck from 30." I might have to start betting some hubdubs rather than against them (although it does stop the result biting too much).

From helping out in the ticket office I have learnt that American Football is like Rugby League but tediously slow. I suppose this is only statistics so I could just guess from their relevant history.
No Rugby League for a couple of months after the World Cup but I have exams next week so maybe I should concentrate on them.

Well thats the 100k barrier crossed. Unfortunately that means at 1k per game (which is all I can put on without wrecking the odds)and only 50 games ata weekend means I need to find someting to put my money in so it's hidden and not annoying me.

I know but I had 40-50% tied up in it and was praying to get it back so I could put some bets on this Saturday's games. At least I haven't lost it before the Champions League as if it wasn't for Tottenham (and the usual from Doncaster) I would of had a pretty mediocre weekend.
Getting a bit peeved with Doncaster, last year's top scorer has been left on bench most of the season. So he get's played (good), gets a penalty (good) and then hits it at the goalkeeper before casually heading the rebound into the keepers arms. I think I may become an Aston Villa fan just so I can in money betting against them as well.

Villa did not f you royally, that would have been you predicting Villa to win away at the Premiership leaders. Now at 2% it might have been worth a punt but seriously

The leaderboards look good but I would say that as I am in the top ten for both. I would say I like the fact it's based on percentage rather than value as it always seemed annoying that the main leaderboards are done the other way. I would now be lying because your system has newbie Snem above me and I'm gutted.

As for messing with the algorithms, is this why I only have a 0.7% gain despite putting on 40% in the last 7 days. Off to lose some more monry on Doncaster, maybe they will draw this time.

I don't think its just me shaming bids upon Aston Villa. As for below you on the quarterly gains I am 300% up on you but you will soon if I keep putting money on Doncaster ( I just keep thinking they have to win sometime).

Doncaster is a mistake I promised myself I wouldn't repeat but just did. I liked our manager's comments that having a player sent off helped them to do what they had set out to do, which seemed to be beating us.
I now am awaiting the pay out on the Championship games so I can reinvest my winnings.
