Hey Stephen...Thanks for all your challenges but I don't know if you know this or not, but I live in Scotland. The Stanley Cup means squat to me..as does whatever the Lakers do. Football is my thing. The real game, not the one where everyone wears armour and stops every 2 minutes. Much as I love the US, I think your sports are a little..how can I put it...insular maybe? It is a really hard one to game given the number of questions that get settled last night. We haven't seen any evidence of gaming therefore I thought it legit.

Good for you! You won't regret it...Keep your house clean...When a prediction is going "the wrong direction" and you can see that it is NOT going to improve, take the loss and get rid of it. You can even re-invest in the same question on the "correct" side and make a profit...I checked your predictions and found a good one THAT I MISSED! Thanks for the good tip!

That was stupid, I tried to send you a shout and accidently put it on my own Profile. Anyway, the Phils are looking VERY strong. They beat the Rockies 20-5 last night and the Astros 16-4 the day before. 36 runs scored in the last 2 games....I'M EXCITED!!!

I don't mind the Bosox unless they meet the Phillies in interleague play, and that rarely happens. My Dad is actually a Red Sox fan so I tolerate them. They are a good team, but if they make it to post-season this year, I hope to see my team right there with them.

Well, hanging onto "dead losses" doesn't work...I cut a few this afternoon...Even if you only get 200, cash them in and re-invest, so that you get something back soon...there are LOADS of questions out there that say "by the end of May" or "before June" or "by May 31st"...Even if you are only going to get a little back, it's better to have "the little bit" than nothing at all. Especially if you are waiting for Hillary (I have some of that stuff too, and Obama is only 50 delegates away from cinching the title at the moment). The good news is that your net worth won't decrease much by getting rid of the junk (you have ALREADY lost it off of your net worth). You can only gain by "cleaning house" REGULARLY and re-investing...just thoughts, maybe will help...good luck!

Most of your predictions look like long-term questions...That's ok, as long as you SELL after about 20% increase, and then re-invest immediately...Makes your money grow, but I am sure that you know that...Also, hubdub does not pay us to hold cash, so make sure that ALL of your money is invested. You can always sell something to buy something else, if you see something else you want to invest in...just thoughts! Your luck will be changing soon...

sports and stock market are awfully volatile, unless you know a lot about sports...I have no luck with either one...somehow I got to the top of the "world" and "general" leaderboards...not intentional just happened that way...try a few short term yes/no answers...how likely is it that someone is going to get caught, prosecuted, convicted, canonized, etc by June 1st? Will the pope, archbishop of canterbury, bush, musharraf, mugabe be prosecuted, convicted, ejected, courtmartialed, kicked in the backside by June 15th...? Hopes this helps...

This is the last time i will be logging in for awhile because I am beginning an independent strike. Users such as crudsy and orlin have been growing their net worths at pretty much impossible rates. There is no possible way they can increase their net worth soo quickly given the time it takes to settle most bets. Clearly, they either both have several accounts? or maybe they are the same person? this way they can place bets back and forth to sway bets and give higher cash out values. This is completely unfair and ruins the system. I think there needs to be a monitoring of accounts from IP addresses. If there are multiple accounts under a certain IP address than the accounts need to be checked in order to see if the same questions are being bet on. If so, than penalties must be issued.

You are right that there has been a recent shortage of "sure bets" on hubdub. I try to keep all of my cash invested, but I can't find really interesting stuff today. Sometimes a "day off" helps to see more clearly. I'm going to a concert tonight; maybe that will help.

It is racing, along with all other currently open stock markets worldwide, at last check it was up 1.5% or 247.55 points higher, less than an hour into trading and the YES option is only at 70% right now, but also going up fast, I've put a chunk on this one, it is a pretty good bet I think.

As for "tips" I haven't really any I'm afraid. I was doing quite well, but in the last 3 weeks, I've bounced between $14k - $17k/$18k :-P .... So I am not as good as I started out, hahahaha, however, I seem to do better when I am creating lots of questions, and since I've not made very many in the last 2 weeks, maybe that's why I'm not as good right now. So, my only advice could be to become active in creating questions, hehe :-D
