@ Mork

Thank you for showcasing this travesty. Evil flourishes when good men do nothing. It is incredulous to me that these events, which are becoming more common seem to give a balance of consideration on both sides, as if there was some rationale for family members killsing their daughters, sisters and mothers for not wearing headscarves. I have friends in Mississauga and this just repulses me.

The father was originally the only one charged with this murder. Some time has passed and now the brother has been charged as well.

In Canada a verdict of 1st degree murder can be found if pre-meditation is proven.

I pray this will settle in a manner which will clearly project that these crimes will not at all be tolerated in Canada.

This is a disgusting crime and the fact that the perpetrators may be supported by some is disturbing in the deepest sense.

Published reports say the preliminary hearing for both men will begin Dec. 17. The hearing, which will determine if Peel's Crown Attorney has enough evidence to warrant a trial, is expected to last several weeks.

They seem arbitrarily strict. Consider:

Five Iraqi Muslims whose religion forbids them from contact with pork were caught trying to sneak illegally into Britain - in a lorryload of ham.

Uk Border Agency officers searched the truck and found the gang hiding inside among tons of the meat.

The Polish-registered lorry, bound for Haverhill in Suffolk, was stopped at the French port of Calais.
