Voided

Question is not clear as it currently defined. It would need to define what is meant by a new computer.

Settlement details: As speculated (and hoped for) by many!

Suspended Sun 29th Jun 2:09pm PDT by kruijs[Power User]: Flagged by super user: iMac G6? huh? They have Intel processors already. A change of the processor platform would satisfy as major update.
But what else? Solid state HDD? Larger display? Only thing I could imagine would be a convertable design.
A hardware upgrade is released very often which only makes minor changes to the configuration - if that's the question, the odds are off.
If a complete new system (with a new name) is meant than the starting odds should be backed up by some news articles who speculate upon it.

BTW: If "As speculated (and hoped for) by many!" would settle the question, the outcome would be known by creation time - which would lead to a void of the question. I assume that this is merely your personal opinion.

Sorry, this is too ambiguous in my eyes.

Sorry, this is too ambiguous in my eyes so I'll flag this question. Please clarify your intentions with the cat-ed.

tedwinder, sorry, I don't want to disencourage you.

Please understand that questions which are ambiguous tend to get disrupted by other players which will lead to endless discussions, frustration and disappointment. By suspending the question I give the cat-ed an opportunity to clarify the question details with you and eventually unsuspend it after an minor edit to it. This would not be possible when too many people have already put too many stakes into it as it could lead to changes of meaning (users would claim they would never had put a stake into a option which' meaning has changed). The only way out than would be to void the question, which is worse than this suspension.

Thanks for your participation so far, keep it up :)
