Who will win the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest this July 4th?

Voided

No 'other' option

Background:

It's July 4th weekend which means lots of burgers and hot dogs across America. It also means it's time for Nathan's annual hot dog eating contest on Coney Island. From 2001 through 2006, 144-pound Takeru Kobayashi dominated the competition, but last year Joey Chestnut brought the crown back to the states with 66 hot dogs and buns (HDBs) in 12 minutes. Who will take the crown this year? Will Kobayashi reclaim the title or will Chestnut keep it in America? Oh the suspense.

Wow - what a great question!
The hype in the 30 minutes or so before the event is almost as fun as the event itself ;-)

I thought this was a great question also, but aren't there usually a number of competitors...or is this a separate championship match? I tried checking a few different links, and it wasn't clear to me. It sounded like the champions from several qualifiers were open to compete. Just wondering...
