Will Mike Arrington Be Charged In Connection With Attempting To Sell His Vote?

Settled as No

No reports of this.

Background:

TechCrunch is reporting that Max Sanders, a resident of Minnesota, thought it would be funny to try to sell his vote on eBay (he offered to video himself voting as proof). Funny that was until he was charged with one count of bribery, treating and soliciting, a felony under an 1893 Minnesota law that makes it a crime to offer to buy or sell a vote.

Sanders now faces a maximum penalty of up to five years in jail and a $10,000 fine. eBay has taken down the listing. In protest at the heavy handed response, Mike Arrington is claiming that he is putting his vote up for auction.

Settlement details: As reported by a major mainstream news source. Question will be settled as Yes if Arrington is charged in connection with selling his vote on or before the election on November 4th.

I think this is a duplicate of <http://www.hubdub.com/m10586/Will_Max_Sanders_go_to_prison_for_selling_his_vote>.

It's a tad confusing, as THIS market refers to "Mike Arrington" in the text of the question itself, but refers to "Max Sanders" in the background text ("TechCrunch is reporting that Max Sanders...").

It also refers to "Mike" in the background text ("Mike Arrington is claiming that he is putting his vote up for auction.")
Unsuspended Mon 7th Jul 5:50am PDT by nigeleccles[Admin]: Suspended in error - this market refers to Mike Arrington NOT Max Sanders (who has already been charged)
