Will fired teacher in Ohio be teaching again before Thanksgiving 2008?

Background:
John Freshwater, a teacher at Mount Vernon Middle School in Mount Vernon, Ohio, has been accused of preaching his Christian beliefs in the classroom, and burning crosses on students' arms.
He has apparently been fired, and his appeals hearing is scheduled for Aug. 26, 2008.
There have been demonstrations in the town's square representing both sides of this situation.
Will he be teaching in the classroom again before Thanksgiving?
