How many category editor applications will Nigel receive?

At the risk of sounding clairvoyant I can say with ABSOLUTE certainty that the number is greater than 1.... ;)

I choose to interpret your query as a tacit endorsement of my unannounced candidacy for the esteemed position of category editor, if anyone in the community cared to proffer an opinion on whether I would be a good selection.... then far be it from me to stand in their way. May the best man win! Or, in keeping with a theme from this evening…May the best Person win! May the best half a dozen people win!

I believe you would make an excellent person to monitor a category called "craziest questions". I love the creativity of your markets, feel you add a great deal to hubdub community, and look forward to more of your markets.

@valornhonor - While I have also tossed my hat in to the ring, I would gladly endorse your unannounced, unofficial, hint at your run for such an esteemed position. You're one of the more active and creative question creators and always have intelligent and kind comments. I wish you luck (even if you're not going to give in to some creative form of "will I get the job" question!). :)

i can tell ya my was denied..but it still counts as 1 sent in. i disagree with SU's from time to time, but wouldn't wanna be in their shoes. as a whole they have made an improvement in the site. i had my doubts in the begining. somebody (valor) needs to make a question we can wager on who the HD community thinks is the best SU. don't know it would be worded, but might be fun every few months.

I think I can speak for all the super users here, when we say hands down jenni takes the cake.

I hope that the effort the super users put into the site is having the effects everyone hoped for. I know for one that I have a feel the site is better now than before we had them.

Sometimes I have the feeling it's just us SU playing hubdub and there are just a few non-SU active players (like in this comment-thread). All the rest are just spectators. But that certainly is not true.

a) I think the site is better with the SUs.
b) yes, and jenni is by far the most active, polite, prof, and appropriate of the bunch. But, I'd say they are all just fine!
c) v&h would also get my vote. not only is he creative, but his markets are well thought out, well defined, and well documented.
d) mrperfkt would also get my vote.
e) if jenni puts in her app, though, she would definitely rise to the top of any short list.

I think they should hire more people in their own country, and then have them work the night shift, to keep things going (settlements, etc.) 24/7.

@ jchiang -- if you look at "Settlement details" ... then click on the grey text "read all" (link), you will see the actual "settlement information", that includes this from Nigel, "27 to be exact and in general very high quality. This is going to be tough."
