Will the Vice-Presidential nominees be governors or former governors?

Settled as Only Rep. choose a current or former governor

This weekend most of the nation's governors meet at the National Governor's Association meeting in Philadelphia. One of the key points of interest was the question of which of them, if any, would be the VP nominee for one or both parties.

For the first time in over 30 years, a governor or former governor is not one of the presidential nominees. This should make it more likely that one or both of the major parties would choose a governor for the second slot of the ticket.

So, what will happen?

Question will suspend August 15 or when the first VP nominee is announced, whichever occurs earliest..
