Quand est-ce que Tisha quittera Paris avec son visa?

Settled as jamais (never/other)

Elle reste la encore. (She's still there).

Background:

Translation: When will Tisha hear about her visa and leave Paris??

(Tisha says) This question was submitted by my mate Carlos who is kindly putting me up on his couch in Paris. I am in Paris trying to get a work visa to get back into the UK ... it's been three and a half weeks and counting now.

The British Embassy website in Paris states that it usually takes about 10 working days to process a visa for French nationals, but as I am not a resident here it may take longer. Enquiries to the intercom box outside the big gates of the Embassy by myself yielded no further information than 'I don't know how long it will take. You will just have to wait'.

Hubdub is impatient for me to get back to Edinburgh ... how much longer will they (and I) have to wait?!

Why do you want to go to England anyway?

It's not England...it's Scotland, and that's different (at least in their minds)

Personally, I'm more in favor of relocating to Kruijis' locale........

To be closer to the Hubdub team, of course! Also, Edinburgh is lovely (apart from the weather, sometimes...) and I've got friends there. Unfortunately, I'm an Aussie so I need a visa to work (which I think is disgraceful ... we're still their colony, after all!)

Oh, sorry, Scottland, of course. But that all UK on the island over there.

I've been in Glasgow once. In August. The weather there was <shiver> cold, like 15 °C, drizzling. brrrrrr.

A native congratulated us on the beautiful weather.

Can I get British ancestry ? ? ? Mine came over in 1654 . . . does that help...got a book that proves it!

Been wanting to emigrate to GB for years........thought about divorcing Htlsales and marrying her cousin. She woulda married her BF and we would have all lived in County Durham . . . 3 were agreeable...damn the other one!
