Will the McCain campaign release any more advertisements with Britney Spears or Paris Hilton?

Current forecast: 18% chance
Combining all predictions, the current forecast is that this is 18% likely to happen (unchanged in last 1 day)

John McCain's gotten into trouble recently for a campaign commercial he released, comparing Barack Obama's celebrity to that of troubled celebrities Briney and Paris. According to the campaign they were trying to inject some humor into the debate, but Obama sees it as a mocking advertisement.

Here's the advertisement:

In a campaign for the youth vote, using figures which are easily recognizable is the best way to get attention. The ad has gotten airtime on all the major networks and whatever its faults is effective. With its success already sealed will McCain rely on these lovely girls again?

Dear Senator Obama,

You are going to have to acquire some thicker skin, especially before you get ready to sit down and chat with folks that don't like the US so much.

In complete agreement with Adam here. In fact I think the advertisement is a funny way to get the youth vote. Surprising though that it's coming from a senior citizen.

Regards,

Ryan

I just embedded the paris hilton response ad in this market. It is a must see.

I like Paris' ad better than McCain's ad:

Will Paris Hilton's ad get more views on Youtube than Obama or McCain ads which mention her...

Hmmm... Barack is troubled by:

A Liberal columnist mentioning his big ears,
People noticing his middle name, (but not when he mentions his middle name)
A Liberal newspaper's front page cartoon,
When someone else compares him to Paris Hilton (but not when he makes the comparison himself)

I have trouble imagining how he would handle the amount of criticism that is leveled at our President every day - God bless George W Bush!

@notabl..barack has skin like bill clinton. neither one can take it, but they love to dish it out. i think history will grade bush pretty good. largest natural disaster in 50 or more years, the 9-11 attack, and unemployment is still lower than when bill (don't call me names or disagree with my postions or i'll smear you in the press) was in office. i remeber the press say unemplotment at 6 was the greatest thing since sliced bread. now they say we're in a recession, and its still under 6%.

@dieseldog - I agree. And the rising unemployment rates are the Democrats fault anyway... every conservative in the country was warning that raising the minimum wage will raise unemployment, and congress did it anyway. Now they try to blame it on the President some how!

@destry...how do you embed videos?

embedding videos is currently a category level function. maybe down the road it gets extended. if a user wants to have a video embedded, best thing to do is flag the market and include embed link.
