Will Over Weight, Convicted Rapist/Murderer be Executed on OCT 14th, 2008?

He is concerned about the anesthesia not working properly (due to trouble finding his veins)and without the proper anesthesia, the lethal injection process will be excruciating.

I wonder if he is concerned about what those two college students felt after what he put them through

No should be simply that he is NOT executed on October 14th, that way it can be settled. Having that NO is that he is executed at any other time might drag out the question as long as a death row wait for an execution...let the settlement just be whether or not he is executed on that date...any other outcome is a NO.

I was also thinking if this dude dies before that date (say heart attack or any other cause) this should settle as NO...basically (along the lines of what bayoubear was saying) if this dude dies by any form of execution on OCT 14th, it should be YES and everything else should be NO...

I have edited the background and settlement details. This is a straight up Yes/No. If he is executed on October 14th it will settle as YES. Anything else NO.

Whew! That was an easy one.

They could stop feeding him, for several weeks, until he's thin enough for a proper execution... that seems the most compassionate solution to me.

a firing squad would work...i dont think they would miss

@f_o_f, but the problem with that is that he would experience the 'euphoria' that Terry Shavio did, and he doesn't deserve that kind of treatment...

I think letmewinplees's firing squat idea is the best personaly.

I just hope the fat monster spends his last few minutes on earth in screaming agony

Hes pretty much screwed. Although a similar case to this one was that they thought that the anesthisia wouldnt work properly and with no real case they managed to push there death date back by weeks plus they kept everyone else who was on death row in the US from dying for weeks. Lets hope he can delay for at least one day.

Good question! However i am not sure if they release that information so we might have a hard time proving that one.

Cooey dined Monday evening on the special meal he ordered, including T-bone steak with A-1 sauce, onion rings, french fries, four eggs over easy, toast with butter, hash browns, a pint of rocky road ice cream, a Mountain Dew soft drink and bear claw pastries.
