The problem that Gordon Brown has is that the people of Scotland have had enough of Westminster's lies and deception. For years the SNP have been fighting to promote the injustices inflicted upon the Scottish People by oil profiteering, Westminster Loyal politicians. Instead of helping the Scottish People the Unionist Labour and Conservative and Liberal Democrat politicians have lied and deceived the Scottish People about the Vast Oil Wealth. 32 million a day over a population of 5 million is a lot of money to send to London.

Why not read the TOP SECRET MCCRONE OIL REPORT that Westminster does not want you to read. Available at http://www.oilofscotland.org

Wasn't the McCrone report compiled in the 1970s? I'm not sure North Sea oil is a convincing argument for independence any longer (if it ever was).

Back to the question though, Labour's candidate for Glenrothes seems pretty decent. Could be a close-run thing.

at least it does not take 18 months to pick a candidate, is bad enough here having to wait till to day for a result on the west Australian election

Gordon Brown inherited a posion challice when he became PM and it looks like the SNP can captialise on the mistakes made by the previous adminstration. Just as they did in Glasgow when a far less experienced, and compentient SNP candite managed to over turn a smaller Labour majority using a similar campain style, and similar sound bites that we're hearing today.

The McCrone Report was written in 1974 however this report into Scotland Oil Rich Economy is as relevant as it in the 1970's when it was classified top secret. If Scotland's Oil is of no relevance why in 1979 did Labour overturned a democratic decision when 52% of Scots and 43 to 19 Scottish MP's democratically voted for a devolved Scottish Government. Westminster made political history by saying NO twice.

Or why in 1999 did Tony Blair Secretly MOVE SCOTLAND'S BORDERS

IN 1999 WESTMINSTER MOVED SCOTLANDS MARINE BORDER from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Carnoustie MAKING 6,000 MILES OF SCOTLAND'S SEA ENGLISH.

So when you play golf at St Andrews and look out to sea, you are looking at English Waters according to the treacherous Westminster powers that be.

Visit http://www.oilofscotland.org and click on the golfer to see the reason why the Unionst Labour secretly moved Scotland's borders, and read the pdf of the 1999 order to MOVE SCOTLAND'S BORDERS

Maybe this report sealed the fate of Willie MacRae (May 18, 1923 - April 7, 1985) was a Scottish nationalist politician and lawyer, best remembered for the mystery surrounding his death.
