Will President Bush Visit Vermont?
Current forecast: 20% chance

Combining all predictions, the current forecast is that this is 20% likely to happen (unchanged in last 1 day)
Vermont, the home of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, is the only state President Bush has not visited during his term as President of the United States of America.
Why no Bush visit to Vermont? Let us count the reasons.
"He lost Vermont by 10 points in 2000 and 20 points in 2004. In both years, Vermont gave Bush fewer votes than any other state. More than 30 Vermont cities have approved resolutions calling for his impeachment. In March, Brattleboro voters approved a resolution (unenforceable, town officials say) calling for Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney to be arrested if they ever show up in town."
But would that be enough to keep the Commander in Chief away?
Vermont has the highest, per capita, number of soldiers killed in Iraq of any of the 50 states. President George H. W. Bush visited Vermont while President (it was the last state he visited), and Republican Governor of Vermont, Jim Douglas, predicts President Bush will visit before his term ends.
