Background:
What it's about: A psychic tells Bella Bloom (Elizabeth Reaser) she has one year to get married, or else she never will. The catch: Her true love is someone she has already dated. Despite the insane, age-of-Google premise, it's cute. Reaser does a great job handling the show's breezy dialogue, and she plays Bella with such approachable exuberance that you will forget her sad turn on Grey's.

The buzz: This feels like a backwards "How I Met Your Mother" but I love that, so why would I complain about a similar show? I won't! They're really going to have to work on a plot for season two though they may not get the chance starting out in the dreaded Friday night slot.

A note about the options: Shows that are great tend to be renwed earlier in the year, typically before the Christmas break. Shows that are really bad are canceled after only a couple of showings. Shows that are somewhat inbetween are usually announced around the time of the upfronts in May. So your options basically break down into:

Cancelled after Jan 1st - Show not great
Renewed before Jan 1st - Really great show
Renewed after Jan 1st - Ok show
Other - catchall for not announced by end of network Upfront in spring, show is pulled from schedule for future season, etc.
This is for season renewal, an ordering of more episodes for season 1 will not settle the market.
The suspend date may slide forward once network upfront dates are announced.
