Will the Roll Call Vote for Hillary Clinton End With the New York Delegation?

Settled as Roll Call Vote Ends With New York Delegation

It has been widely reported that there will be a Roll Call Vote after entering Hillary Clinton's name into nomination for President, at the DNC Convention, tonight, August 27, 2008.

There continue to be ongoing negotiations between the Obama camp and the Clinton camp on the logistics of how this roll call vote will occur; including how long it will go on.

Many contingencies are reportedly in place to contain excessive demonstrations or outbursts by Clinton supporters, and there has been some speculation that a roll call vote will not take place at all.

What appears to be evident is that many of these decisions are both highly scripted -- and sometimes these plans and agreements are finalized at the "very last last minute".

One suggested solution to bring the roll-call "event" to a close, is to have Senator Clinton's New York Delegation bring the roll call vote to a close (and likely ask the convention to nominate Barack Obama by acclamation).

Regardless of the outcome, it will likely provide some classic convention theatre!

The Suspend Time for this question needs to be changed to 3:00PM Denver Time, 5:00PM Eastern Time, as the vote itself may begin before the existing suspend time for this question.

The "12-hour window" will be over at 4:25PM EDT -- allowing those who have made predictions the opportunity to change them, and/or cash out positions.
