Which HD category will match the final Hurricane of the 2008 season to hit US?

The remaining storms are numbered from # 1, Gustav (because it’s current when I created this question, no need to include the previous storms), through # 15, Wilfred. There are TWO storms for each of the EIGHT Hubdub categories, with the exception of the WORLD category, which only has one storm associated with it, # 7, Marco, hence the lower starting odds for that one.

Also I gave a slight preference in starting odds for storms that are closer to the top of this list as it is a bit less likely that the season will go very deep into the alphabet.

So, if you think:

Gustav # 1 or Nana # 8 will be the final Hurricane of the season then your choice would be GENERAL... if you think that Hanna # 2 or Josephine # 4 will be last, then wager on ENTERTAINMENT... if you think Ike # 3 or Laura # 6 will be last, then wager on POLITICS, etc. etc.

Here is my list of the remaining storm names and how I linked them to the HD categories:

# 7.) MARCO Polo, famous explorer who generally surveyed vast swaths of the world = WORLD.

# 8.) NANA, A form of Japanese Shojo manga artwork = GENERAL.

# 9.) OMAR Khayym, famous poet, astronomer and scientist = SCIENCE.

# 10.) PALOMA Picasso, daughter of Pablo Picasso and Francoise Gilot, she is a famous businesswoman and French fashion designer = BUSINESS.

# 11.) RENE Descartes, French philosopher, mathematician and scientist = SCIENCE.

# 12.) SALLY Ride, famous first female US Astronaught = TECHNOLOGY.

# 13.) TEDDY, TED the Technology, Entertainment and Design conference, a private, invitation only event that convenes the world’s leading thinkers and doers gathering together to find inspiration = TECHNOLOGY.

# 14.) VICKY, Victoria’s Secret is the largest brand and segment of Limited Brands and does over $5B in annual sales = BUSINESS.

# 15.) WILFRED Bungei was the Kenyan athlete that won a gold in the 800m event at the 2008 Olympic summer games = SPORTS.

Why don't you just ask: "How many hurricanes will hit the US in 2008" ?

Because that's too dull.
