Background:>

But what is may be not less interesting it's the rocket with which the launch will be executed. This is a converted inter-continental ballistic missile known in Russia as R-36M 'Voevoda' (meaninig "ancient military chief") and SS-18 'Satan' by NATO designation.
It launches not as it is usual for most of the space rockets, but from under the earth which makes Dnepr rocket launches always very spectacular (and somewhat frightening).
But those rockets have a history of failures and malfunctions and this brings some elevated level of incertainity.
Dnepr launches from different sites; this time the launch is from Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
