@matt - I REALLY wanted to bet on this, but Sarah is really the only viable option at this point so 10% initial odds aren't supported. Also, the CatEd made the decision to close down the VP markets last night at midnight to prevent last second wagers, so I believe there will be only the one market open this morning. Thanks though.. too bad we didn't have this market yesterday!

In this Dec. 4, 2006 file photo, Todd Palin, right, holds the Bible for his wife, Sarah Palin, as she is sworn in as Alaska's governor during an inauguration ceremony in Fairbanks, Alaska. As the political community turned desperate for any clues about the potential running mate of Republican Presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., speculation moved toward several dark horse candidates including Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the so-called 'hockey mom' credited with reforms of her tiny, out-of-the-way state.

TINY out of the way state? What? Alaska is the largest state and in an overlay over the 48 states, nearly as wide! Let the 'dissing' begin...

LOL - that "Tiny out of the way state" is more than 2.4 times the size of Texas, and the only state that borders two countries.

It is 2.5 times larger that France, in area, (almost 4.5 times larger than Japan) and about 17.7% of the size of China!

Amazing amounts of useless trivia are available on the internet! :-)
