NFL - Will Chad Johnson wear an "Ocho Cinco" jersey during any regular season game?
Chad Ocho Cinco will keep his dual identity for the rest of the season.
The Cincinnati Bengals receiver formerly known as Chad Johnson said Thursday he'll wear his old name on the back of his uniform for the rest of the season. It would have cost him a lot of money to make the switch for this year.
"We've just left it alone," he said, in an interview. "I'll just wait and do it next year."

Story first released around 9:00AM EST on 10/23, which will be the cut-off time.
Background:>
USA TODAY confirmed with the Broward County (Fla.) Clerk of Courts that the man formerly named Chad Johnson officially changed his name yesterday.
The official said he did not know what the receiver changed his name to, only that the old name was gone. There has been speculation that he would make his legal last name "Ocho Cinco," the nickname that corresponds to his jersey number with the Bengals.
The motivation for the name change may be so the receiver can wear "Ocho Cinco" on the back of his jersey. He wore a jersey marked with that moniker before a 2006 game, but removed it prior to kickoff after the NFL warned the receiver it would fine him for using it during a game.
Chad Johnson legally changes last name
In a related story...he recently told ESPN "A lot of people look at Chad Johnson and say he's crazy and he does a lot of stuff, but I don't think people really understand how smart I really am," Johnson said. "So come Sept. 7, I believe when we play the Baltimore Ravens, I think that's the game, there's a surprise for everybody -- for everybody. When I say something, it is what it is, just enjoy it. Because it's going to last 16 weeks, plus some more."
Johnson, Bengals getting more zany?

Market was reopened due to changes in the news with this story. While Chad has legally changed his name, the NFL recognizes it, and the Bengals have even updated their roster, the NFL is now saying that if he wants to wear the jersey, he must buy out the recent stock of @100,000 jerseys which were printed for sale by Reebok (costing approximately $4 million).

So, will the NFL budge? Will Reebok force him to pay up? Maybe he'll just fork over the cash! What's $4 million to Ocho Cinco?
